The story had a lot of promise, but pieces that would have pushed the action and twist forward were too drawn out. There was not a lot of care for characters who were harmed and the police seemed inept as they missed huge pieces of evidence. I guessed the ending well before it ended so instead of being on the edge of my seat, I wanted to scream at everyone for being foolish. The narration was difficult to listen to because of a transatlantic accent and singsong cadence. The narration alone almost made me not finish this one. I probably would not repeat anything by this author or narrator again.
