Pretty basic knowledge, better watch a yt video
This book promises straightforward advice on negotiation, yet it constantly gets in its own way. It introduces a situation, refuses to say how it turns out, then wanders off into a long parade of new examples that only blur the first point. By the time it finally returns to the original example, you almost forget why it mattered or what the problem was. Also, a lot of what it teaches feels pretty obvious. Most readers could probably learn the same lessons from a quick ten minute YouTube video and come away with a clearer picture. The writing does not help. You can practically feel that the people behind it aren‘t actual authors, because the style is stiff, clunky, and often a chore to get through.
