This is probably a really good book about power dynamics but a lot I didn't get and what I did get I didn't enjoy. I know all my criticsms are intentional: the unlikable characters, the questionable motives of the protagonist, the uncertainty of what is actually going in, still it never felt like an engaging or fulfilling read. The hints about the state of the world are interesting and the writing is nice, but unfortunately I didn't get much more out of it.
