In the beginning I really liked the idea of people being trapped in a TV-Show and since it said to be similar to Squid Game, I looked forward to it. The basic idea is a good one in my opinion, however how the story turned out to evolve wasn`t very catching or made sense in some way to me. To be honest, it wasn`t much of the story I expected it to be. Nontherless was the ending quite okay to good, some things i would have liked more to happen. The english was good and easy to understand and the writing style was fluently readable. (Spoiler Alert!) It didn`t make sense to me that they had to pay for their „sins“ like that, and that someone as crazy as the Show Director would do such an effort to renovate a whole shore and get all the equipment to produce a TV-Show. Also that they were trapped in the basement with different tasks. I liked that they were locked if they had done something wrong- but those challenges were totally random and it was zero thrilling. And where was the killer? I expected a killer beyond them, wanting to win the price or something but not that Bonnie would fall into a coma and then the story is somehow over because the others got burned!! Zero excitement!! Charlie girl did basically nothing as she worked with the director.

4,5⭐️ Wenn ihr Thriller mögt, dann müsst ihr das Buch unbedingt lesen! Ich habe es in kürzester Zeit gelesen, weil es wirklick sehr spannend war. Immer und immer wieder kamen Plottwists mit denen ich nicht gerechnet habe. Zudem ist es weitaus nicht so banal, wie man anhand des Covers erahnen könnte. Es erinnert etwas an Saw, ist aber weitaus nicht so blutig. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Thriller, der ich immer wieder weiter empfehlen würde!
