Unfortunately this was not what I expected from the description. While there were some bits I enjoyed and the writing is very readable with some beautiful descriptions of the Ocean, there was a bit too much religious references to the sea and the authors experience of her pregnancy. From the description I was hoping for more stories from women and the meaning of the sea to them. Dnf'd at page 165.
