From the book description I thought I was going to really love this book. I was expecting laughs, a good yarn and a murder mystery. It was a good mystery, a bit of a drawn out yarn but there was no laughs I'm afraid. I felt like it was trying too hard to be a Holmes/Watson kind of duo. The main character was certainly trying to be Sherlock Holmes but was being more rude than witty. I'd recommend it if you are just looking for something fast easy to read. He did get a bit annoying through the book, and that unfortunately is what is putting me off getting the next one in the series. I might wait a while then give it a go. Sorry.
