This was my first time reading Kate Callahan. The story was really cute. Autumn has chronic back pain from an accident when she was a teenager. I myself have multiple chronic health issues. I found it so relatable when Autumn said she can barely take care of herself how would she ever care for a dog or plant. Autumn and Eli have a bit of a rough start living together. The back and forward banter between Autumn and Eli was so good. The only thing that was missing for me was a resolution to her parents not supporting her music career. I would have liked to see them attend her show. I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.
