Didn‘t give me the same giggles and feet kicking that book 1 gave me, but still very cute!

It was okay. Sadly, it was quite predictable and I didn't care much for the pairing, at least not as much as I did for Jade and Theo. Even side characters like Izzo and Daisy seemed more interesting to me than the protagonist and her love interest.
I didn't like this one as much as the first one. In this one, our main character is kidnapped into the mad scientist's facility and forced into Luka(s cage to be revealed as his mate. Except, Luka is drugged up all throughout the part of the book, making our main character feeling guilty about her part in Luka's abuse. When they get out, there are a bunch of miscommunication, also linked with the fact that Luka's race aren't used to dealing with mates anymore, that make their love story evolve slowly. It wasn't a bad book, far from it. But I wasn't as enthusiastic as for the first book, it was much more based on miscommunication, and that's not something I love. I might read the next book, but I'm not sold on the summary for now.
