Erstmal ist der Anfang vom Plot her sooooo gut. Nicht nur das nein. Das Ende. Pure happiness. Ich heule. Noch nie in meinem Leben war ein Ende so schön vielleicht auch nur weil ich sehr krank zu Chu wanning relate aber es war einfach krank schön. Wahrscheinlich das beste Buch was ich seit langem gelesen habe ich mochte den Teil SEHR.

I approached this series with a lot of initial reservations and I'm truly relieved with how things turned out. Thank you Meatbun for disappointing my prejudices. The overall balance of character development and intriguing plot in volume five has been amazingly good in my eyes, just as it has been throughout the story so far, but especially in this volume. I have to say that the big revelations Meatbun presented to the readers in this volume were not too surprising to me. I guess that's some unresolved trauma from the old Palace Master (those who know, know). Still, I'm glad that we finally got some answers while still leaving enough mystery. As before, I'm looking forward to the upcoming story, but still dreading it a little. I don't even need to talk about the moments between Mo Ran and Chu Wanning, I absolutely loved them together in this volume and the last two chapters absolutely destroyed me in the best possible way. My heart bleeds and warms for them at the same time. I can't wait for volume six.

Zunächst stand ich mit dem Band ein wenig auf Kriegsfuß, da mich der Teil mit der Rufeng Sekte nicht wirklich interessiert hat. Vor allem, da ich mich mit Band 4 sehr auf Fortschritt in Chu Wannings und Mo Rans Beziehung gefreut habe. Im letzten Viertel des Bandes wurde es dann aber wett gemacht und ich konnte nicht mehr aufhören zu grinsen 🤭. Ich freue mich sehr auf Band 6 Ende August.

After the last two volumes each focused on one specific topic, this one followed the "main story" again. It starts with everyone being at the Rufeng sect to celebrate the wedding of Nangong Si and Song Qiutong. Well, and then everything gets wild 😂 We basically get all the tea on the Rufeng sect and sect leaders and some big reveals regarding the main villain. Of course, still not everything, but it was super exciting being one step closer to figuring out what is going on. Then, after all that drama, we get some Mo Ran and Shizun time again 😊 Those last few chapters were just OMG 🥰 Can't say more without spoiler, but my heart was going crazy. It's a shame this volume only had around 300 pages. They keep getting thinner 😭 I am more than excited for the next one, after what happened at the end 🤭❤️

I absolutely love it! Ich fühlte so viele Emotionen, gute wie schlechte. Ich wurde ganz eingenommen von diesem Buch. Es passierte so viel und man konnte einfach nur schockiert reinschauen. Manche Gedanken die Mo Ran pflegte haben mich ein wenig unwohl fühlen lassen aber es passte dennoch sehr zu seinem Charackter und von dem was von Taxjan-Jun noch übrig geblieben ist. Und still: My poor Chu Wanning. Es bricht mir das Herz wie er immer noch so wenig von sich denkt. Chu Wanning deserves the world. Finally a confession! Ich fand es extrem gut wie die Autorin die Confession gehandelt hat, es war sehr auf die beiden Personalitys der beiden abgestimmt. Dieses Ende jedoch sollte legal nicht möglich sein. Sehe ich so aus als könnte ich mit diesem Ende auf en nächsten Band warten der erst 20.8.24 rauskommt?! Das ist pure Folter! Was am Schluss passiert ist endet meistens nie gut, nach meiner Erfahrung von anderen Büchern.
