DE: Ich mochte die beiden echt sehr. Sie weiß was sie will und setzt sich für Leute ein. Ich hab mich schon gefreut gehabt auf dieses Buch, denn ich wollte unbedingt wissen wieso ist sie gegangen und wohin. EN: I really liked them both. She knows what she wants and is there for people even if it could harm herself. I was very excited for this book, since i wanted to know why she was leaving Rai and where she went.

I liked this book a lot. Anastasia and Knox’s story is different form the other ones I’ve read and the whole mafia thing I something I always like to read. In the beginning it took me a while to notice that Anastasia was Rais “sister” and was supposed to marry someone within the mafia. Because she didn’t want to do that she fled and build a new life for herself. She just didn’t think that Knox was the stranger she lost her virginity to. And that that stranger is her new boss. I really liked how their relationship developed and seeing how much he cared for her when she was in danger. I can’t wait to read more about Adrian, kirill and Alexander in the next books. They were the people that always threatened her and I knew about them from previous books. Also something that I didn’t expect was that Knox’s dad is now in a relationship with a man. I would really like to read about their Story because it sounded quite interesting. I also LOVED seeing everyone again at the end of the book. Especially the mention of Landon and Brandon made me really emotional and happy for all the characters. Can’t wait to read about the next couple

I liked this more than Empire of Desire and the start was pretty good but then so much pointless smut and so little plot happened that I got a bit bored. This book felt so long even thought it's only about 350 pages. But most of their interactions were just smut. Honestly, I guess I expected a lot more since Knox's backstory had so much potentional and I really liked him in the Royal Elite Series. I'm also not the biggest fan of Mafia stories so I guess I'm in for some rough time considering what the next books after the Empire Series will be about.

I love Knox soo much😭 I’ve loved him since the first scene in Elsa’s books. I don’t exactly know what I loved so much about this book but there just was something😭 This book made me miss the royal elite series. Like all the scenes with the RES characters😭😭 I love and miss them so much.
