Oh Shit ... Someone has to buy me a new box of tissues. Please. I didn't think at first that I would be so drawn in by this book. It started so quietly, almost bored me a little and now I don't know why. It blew me away like a Baltic Sea wave would my three-year-old self. The writing style and word choice was nice, just some sentences were really too long. So convoluted and with so much content that even my head was spinning. (And that means something :'D) The relationship between Ronny and Ben captivated me from the beginning; pushed me and pulled me back in. I didn't understand why these two people were drawn to each other like magnets until at some point I couldn't imagine them without each other. Where the book started quietly, it gained a depth I didn't expect. There was a seriousness to it that I still love and the handling of this important and lonely topic was written so lovingly and gently that I couldn't help but cry. I had to put the book aside. Also, Ben in particular gained more and more depth and displayed a character development that I loved like nothing else. I am moved and still a little shaken and feel like I am in a daze. Such a strong, brave book <3
