The apothecary diaries is definitely my favourite book series for a reason. Again this Volume did not disappoint me at all. In fact it was probably my favourite one. I loved every little second and every part of it. I just can't get bored of this book series. I loved the new characters that were shown and especially en'en and Yao who had a GREAT character development. At first it was hard to like them but at the end I LOVED them. I love the relationship between Maomao Yao and En'en and especially the one between En'en and Yao it's so cuteeee!!! SPOILER!!! I ACTUALLY LOVE THE TURN OF EVENTS AT THE END. Like I did NOT expect that the shrine maiden is well....not a maiden but rather a man But I love that it was so unexpected Also the confession from jinshi to Maomao was so cute. Like what do you mean he would do literally EVERYTHING for her. I love them Also I am really happy to see the bond of Yao and En'en that they really rely on each other and that we actually got a queer character for once(a canon queer character) which I also didn't expect and to be honest I didn't even realise that En'en liked Yao until Maomao pointed it out.
