This is tacky teenage angst in a novel except the protagonists are already in their mid-twenties and really think there's something, and I quote: "wrong with their personalities" because they want "everyone to like them". And mind you, Jack has already been MARRIED for Christ's sake and still this whole four day (FOUR DAY!!) romance reads like none of the two has ever been in love with someone ever before.
