Finally i made it to read an other book by Jay MacLean. After I read the first book of the more than this Series "More than This" i was very exited for the Spinoff Series. "Lucas" the third eldest of the Preston brothers was an interesting Character in the previous books. Even if he just had been a little Boy. It's obvious that Jays has talent with writng. The Plot in this book had been really interesting. Because jay put her Characters in seveveral complicated situations and they found good ways to get along with them. I also liked that we had tow timelines one in the past and one know. Because by getting to know the past of a character you understand better how he acts now. The way how things in the Preston Family run were really interesting. How they deal wtih thier situation. This was a story that played with my emotions. In one second there had been tears in my eyes and in an other moment i was laughing. But those moments were well ballanced. In some scenes i was like ok why you act that way, it would be so much easier if you act in an other way, But on the there also had been moments where i just wanna to hug the characters. The side characters brought a special dynamic into these story. I liked the way in that the Characters problems were brotught into the story had been very respektfull. Lucas and Lain both had been fighters in thier special own way. Ilekd liked the Jay let them interact together. If you want to read an emotional Lovestory added with interrestng characters and good themes you wouldn't do anything wrong with reading these book. Because of that i would give that book five stars.
