2,5 ⭐️ I didn’t enjoy the first books and due to something in me wanting to know how this will continue in combination with hearing the second books is much better, I kept going. There were moments where I enjoyed it, where I was really impressed by the complex world building and magic system… but the next moment something happened that just didn’t make any sense, felt much too easy or just unnecessary. Especially regarding the interaction and drama between the group. I kept going, because like I said, there were really good parts - but will not continue (probably).
