I absolutely loved it. I didn’t love the writing at first, but it still ended up being one of my favorite books ever. I learned so much about cross-country skiing and the U.S. national team, and Jessie’s insights were so interesting that it took me ages to finish because I didn’t want to miss a thing. I was laughing and crying at the same time—yes, even crying on a train (sorry, Jian). Just a bit sad it doesn’t cover her amazing seasons after 2020… but also kind of magical that she didn’t know what was coming next. Definitely need a second book!!
