What a lovely little kids book this is! As a huge fan of Leigh Bardugo, I was immediatly intrigued when she announced that she would release an illustrated kids book about grief. And this one was everything it promised to be! While short, because it still is a kids book after all, there is so much story and love in these pages. It is a thought-provoking book that does not just cover the loss of a loved one but also presents a cute little take on the Four Horsemen Of The Apokalypse. And what I love most about it is that even though the topics are rather sad compared to your average kids book, it still conveys a huge sense of optimism. Needless to say that this one might come in handy one day even for me as an adult and educatie, for I wilk surely keep this in mind whenever the days seem to dark!
