Not a book I'd normally read but I got it for free on amazon and didn't regret reading it at all. It wasn't a literary masterpiece but I liked the story and sympathized with the characters. An interesting and shocking part of history was pictured in the book and that alone made it worth reading it. But there was another thing bothering me a bit. Every single character in this book may have had a bit too much storyline. How can all of this happen to ONE family and their friends?
