What a whimsical story with a lovely cast of distinct characters. Marnie was a bit doormat-ey at times, and it was made the recurring theme of her life. It's okay for characters not to be likeable, but oh, how I wanted her to punch Noah in the face. Several times. Blix was an amazing second MC. So excentric, but wise. I really enjoyed it overall!

A nice light read for in between

Got this book recommended by Amazon. And I needed something light in between the heavier ones I have read and will be reading. And this was it. I felt that the end was too rushed. Not sure where the focus was, too many things were happening all at once. I was weirded out by the fact that the story between Marnie and Patrick happened too quickly. Maybe Patrick's POV would have helped. Anyways, on to the next book in this series.
