The audio version is the way to go for this book. I listened to it on my way to work the other day and I was crying laughing so hard. There are more somber and downright depressing chapters as well. Nevertheless, the overall message I received was that of hope and finding the good sides in any situation.

DNF'd at 26%. I really really tried to push through but my grammatical monster wouldn't let me. It's so poorly written and the flow is so jumbled up! She really tried to write it like a flow of her thoughts but it's just confusing. Also, the stories aren't really my cup of tea. Maybe if it was well written I would enjoy the stories but here I really don't.

More of a 1.5... I sure wanted to like this book for its authenticity a whole lot more than I did. But the rampant ableism, anti-Blackness, classism, and massive heteronormativity kept tending to get in the way of that. Like, kept hoping she would step back and disavow that ableist BS around Roscoe in hindsight but she never did.
