The story ist settle around Kerry and Noah, siblings which have been separated when they got taken away into care. After the death of their mother, Kerry decided it may be time to reach out to her long lost half brother, whom she cared for so much, she even wrote a birthday letter every year. Eventually, she reaches him. But how do you connect with someone you haven’t seen for over twenty years, who doesn’t know you exist and who lives a life opposite to yours? This story had everything. Laughing, thinking, crying, loving. Another Mike Gayle I couldn’t love more.
