The books should be read in order because this continues right after the second book's events. Fallon was able to save Ariyon and switch their powers back. What she didn't expect.. the darkness that followed. She can't feel happy anymore, anything really. She just feels empty. She is afraid she'll completely turn dark and become the monster her mother was. So she leaves to protect everyone and tries to learn to control her power better... Leia Stone then takes us on a wild rollercoaster full of laughter, sadness, revenge, epic fights, and an awesome heartwarming ending. I personally love how well-thought-out the side characters are. They really do add to the story. Especially Fallon's raven familiar Yanric adds to the story with his witty comments and neverending love for Fallon and her friends. Learning about Queen Solana's experiences and how she became the headstrong and fierce queen she is was probably one of my favorite parts of the book. I read the whole book in one sitting and closed the book with a full heart. ❤️✨ If you are like me and often read the review of the last book of a series to check if it's worth starting it. Do it! Especially if you've liked other books from Leia Stone you will love this series!!!!

I’m absolutely amazed. THIS SERIES IS EVERYTHING. I have many characters deep down in my heart, but THEM? I will definitely never get over this series🐦‍⬛💜✨ The relationship between fallon and ariyon is absolutely magical✨💞 The last book broke and healed me at the same time🌷 It’s a 12/10 must read.
