wow that was… frustrating? This book really felt like being lovesick and not in a good way. A lot of Arden being sad and Caspian still bring so incredibly wrong and stubborn I wanted to scream. Ellery and George are wonderful characters tho and they deserved their time to shine. Nathaniel can go to hell. And Lancaster as well. It‘s getting a bit spoilery from now on: I hated that Lancaster got away with everything, even trying to rape Arden? I hated that we never got an Ellery and Caspian reunion and I hate that Arden and Caspian had only sex like twice or so lol. Sadly, not at all a satisfying end for this series. There should have been a fourth book. And I still enjoyed reading it, btw. I never finish books that don‘t capture me 100%.
