When I saw the movie "Edge of Tomorrow" a few years ago, I didn't know that it was based on a manga. And when I read the manga, I didn't know that it was based on a novel. Now I've at least caught up on one of the basics for the movie and I'm thrilled. It's very pleasant to read and despite the fast pace and the bloody confrontations, the manga gives you enough to learn about the characters and breaks up the narrative again and again with text inserts that are almost philosophical. I generally liked the fact that both characters are the focus of half of the manga and that this results in several twists. I also liked the drawing style and the general design.
