"If I was an artist I'd have grabbed a pencil and drawn her, because I'd never seen anything so perfect."
I liked the aesthetic of the book. It was very cozy, and game autumn vibes. The setting is beautiful (Oxford and Cambridge university). The story was okay, but I think the full potential wasn't used and I didn't really care about the main characters. I didn't love the female main character. In the first 100 pages she was illustrated as a badass charactee, but suddenly she had a personality change, ans she just cried for 70% of the following story. It's obviously okay to be a sensitive person, but I got bored of it, because it was always the same. Something happened, she cried, the male main character had to drive 2 hours to her home, just to find out it was a small thing. It was also very quick romance building, and I personally just like slow-burn more, and had hoped it would be that, especially because the back of the book had promised a Rivals To Lovers story.
But it was still an easy and quick read, and if people are interested in rowing, the Oxford or Cambridge uiversity and an easy love story, they will like this book.
