Book club Read November

This was our book club pick for the month of November and this one was a hard one for me personally because honestly I think there is a lot that I missed and didn’t understand while the others in the book club were able to understand it and didn’t miss but for me personally this one was a hard one to read and I struggled with it so that’s why I gave it three stars because it simply wasn’t really for me but it still wasn’t a bad one

Good book, slow ending with a lot of questions without answers

This book was our book club pick for the month November but we ended up needing way more time to finish it than we thought we would need. At first everyone was deeply enjoying the book until the very end, when we ended up having a lot more questions that stayed unanswered for us. Therefore this book is not going to be a participant for the best book this year and only gets 3 stars overall. It was a fun time reading it, but unanswered questions and letting the reader end the book confused is not good for any book

really loved the first third of the book. felt like a good old Nic Cage treasure hunt blockbuster turned into a book. the switch to a more fantasy themed story came unexpected and even tough i usually enjoy that genre a lot i would've liked this one to stay in the more realistic setting. i'm pretty sure judging by the popularity it already has we'll see this book on some streaming service more sooner than laster (maybe even with Nic Cage).
