4 POVs, all 18 years old, starring in a reboot of a popular TV-show. Abel only took the job to find out what happened to his brother who died 3 years ago during the filming of the show.
I loved it. I really loved it. Would recommend. But there are a few things bothering me. The personal problems of each character were kinda mentioned in the earlier chapters and completely disregarded in the later ones. Spoilers ahead: Ella and her problem with her mother. In the beginning there were issues then her mother just stopped showing up and Ella grew a backbone over night? Or Abel. Sure, his entire story resolves around his brother. But nothing else ever gets mentioned. He is 18. Does he have no one else? Mother? Father? Aunt? Anyone to text him when he makes it to LA for the first time? Also: how did the show manage to get SO popular when they never finished filming before the main actresses had their "breakdown"/disappeared? I loved the storyline (even though a few things were really obvious from the start, wasn't surprised by a lot of things, only in the epilogue) but apart from it there were breadcrumbs leading nowhere. A little bit more outside the main storyline would have been great.
