The story is great, although rather small in the context of the greater universe, but Claudia Gray focuses wonderfully on the characters, who are all great, especially Geode, which I didn't expect. The only problem I have are the flashback scenes which have no real impact and stretch the book a bit. Furthermore, the concept of the Drengir is cool, but I personally don't like the fact that they speak basic. I am looking forward to the further adventures of the characters in the book.
