Leia Organa, both a beloved princess of Alderaan and a rebel hero. In this novel a sixteen-year old; an age where in order to be named the official heir to the crown has to face three challenges. The challenge of the heart, of the mind and of the body. While this should be a celebration, Leia can't help but feel a little dejected as her parents have been distracted and inadvertently ignoring their beloved daughter. To make her parents notice her and to show them what kind of person she can be, she sets out on difficult and dangerous missions in order to overcome her challenges. With her heart in the right place she still makes mistakes with terrible consequences but instead of letting those slow her down, she sets out to try again and slowly uncovers a plot her parents are a part of. A plot against the empire. I loved Leia in the Kenobi-series and I loved her in this novel. Both show the beginning of her journey to become the rebel hero we know and love and I enjoyed it entirely.
