Tashie Bhuiyan always delivers with her books. While the plot is a little bit predictable and probably my least favorite out of the books I read from her, this book is filled with amazing characters and the love for music. There are so many great playlists in here and I totally vibed with the author's song choices. Liana is a protagonist that I was really able to relate to in some aspects - I loved the mental health representation, especially of high functioning anxiety + depression. Again, we have some complex family dynamics, between Bangladeshi culture and the importance of family bonds vs. navigating new roles in a family after loss and creating boundaries with estranged family members.
