I didn't think I needed this genderswapped retelling of the Arthurian myth of Perceval as a lesbian talented knight but I did. The prose is beautiful and makes you really feel like reading an old legend full of magic. I liked how this is also about compassion and support, about growing up and finding your place in the world, about trust and power and caring. It has BIPoC, lesbian, poly, and disability representation, and I loved this interpretation of the myths around King Arthur.
