I might get spoilerly in this one but Iโ€™ll try to keep it as vage as possible! After the big twist in the last volume it kept getting more interesting, the stakes were much higher and some things had big costsโ€ฆ I love that the book didnโ€™t shy away from letting some important characters die and that not everyone had a 'good' ending. Everyone got basically what they deserved, Iโ€™ll leave it at that. This is exactly what will be always remembered (in my opinion). The actions and their consequences are just so real. The ending was open ended which is always a hit and miss in my opinion but I donโ€™t mind it this time. I usually haaaate open endings but this one just worked so well! It couldnโ€™t have ended any other way I think. The big stakes and consequences wouldโ€™ve been in vain otherwise. The author did write a small non-canon sequel tho. Itโ€™s on her website, the password are the last four word Crow says to Zephyr! How cool is that btw!?!? It was so exciting to read the book knowing that Iโ€™ll have to look out for that password!!! The sequel really helped to satisfy my longibg for more (happy) Crow x Zephyr content haha (if you know you know). I would've wished for more Crow content in general btw, I really loved him but he didn't have much screentime and only at the end of volume two you got his POV for the first time... . All in all a great read, I would definitely recommend it!
