You know when you read the description of a book and don’t feel the emotion it’s supposed to convey? This book is not like that at all. This book is truly heart wrenching. I love Oona’s character. She has the opportunity to change her life, but she doesn’t. She doesn’t spoil anything for herself. So many books choose the opposite route, so I love this. She gives herself the chance to grow, learn, and make mistakes. I would like to think I’d make the same choice.
