It keeps you glued to the page, that's for sure. And even though I appreciated the twists, in the end the whole story was a bit (very much) too far fetched for my taste. But I still enjoyed reading it and will keep exploring more of her books.

A very well crafted Thriller
The first half of the book honestly confused me, because at many points in the book I had to ask myself, "What's the point of this?" Halfway through though, things started to get clearer and more intriguing, as we started figuring out the secrets every character was hiding. You never knew what was real and what wasn't, which is why I listened to the second half of the audiobook all in one go. Some scenes even left me standing there like 😱 Alice Feeney writes unreliable narrators extremely well, and it was a lot of fun (and kind of satisfying?) to find out all of these secrets. The setting was perfect too, I am a big fan of the whole "secluded and no way out" trope.

Guter Thriller für zwischendurch
Es ist ein langsamer Thriller vom Pacing her aber ich habe die vibes so sehr geliebt!!! Kann’s mir als Film mega gut vorstellen. Fand auch den Plottwist gut aber ich habe ihn leider nicht mit dem Herzen gefühlt. Objektiv betrachtet fand ich es aber gut.
