It seems like I didn’t like the book very much from the rating I gave. But, I actually quite enjoyed it. I loved the characters and their banter with each other, loved the way the author conveyed his story without dragging. I also see a great potential of me loving the friendship between the thieves and the monk. However, I would love to see some world-building in the following books which I will definitely be reading soon. The book felt a bit dry because of that. But overall I had a great time reading it. At times, especially in the beginning, I couldn’t decide who to believe and this went on and on to a point that I even suspected Myron who is one of the sweetest characters I have ever read. (He may be considered a little clichè for fantasy genre, but I cannot get enough of them, I need more.)

Mit gefallen wieder die Charaktere. Sie sind bunt, ein bisschen verschroben und doch sympathisch. Die Handlung selber ist auch spannend, aber der sehr lineare Handlungsverlauf mit nur zwei Viewpoints erinnert ein bisschen an Jugendbuch. Aber es ist auf jeden Fall so gut, dass ich weiterlesen muss
