After a handful of bad books I was careful and scared, I might not love it. But this story was fantastic! Eli was a fantastic character, not necessarily reliable as a narrator, but I was so on his side and cheering this boy on so much to get to the truth. Also he tried to be reliable, that was not his fault. And I just found him to be so relatable and likeable to us weird kids. Silver’s style of writing might not be the most impressive, but he knows how to bring a stunner of a plot. You will easily fall into a hole and read two hundred pages at once! Yet I do have some beef here.. I love and hate the ending. But no spoilers! As proclaimed: I need a second book
