I dont know why, but this never really inspired any feelings or engagement in me. It was an interesting look at the time, I guess, but I never really cared. Maybe it was too episodic, these weren't the kind of people I like reading about and nothing really had any weight or meaning to it. I think this blasé attitude about everything was intentional, it just didn't do much for me. It's weird, because I liked similar characters and stories before but here I felt just distant and kinda repulsed.
