Compelling psychological suspense thriller about two women who bond over their missing respective sisters. Beautiful emotional depth with a good mystery and a plot twist I didn’t see coming. Exploration of grief, addiction, parental neglect, infidelity, rape, alcohol abuse, resilience and sisterly bonds. Slow start but the pacing and mystery picked up and it became unputdownable. Layered, imperfect characters, a little stilted narration but strong twists and turns. I enjoyed it, but wished for a more thorough ending.
