this one was heartbreaking
OH THE TEARS KEEP ON FALLING... Ryke and Daisy are my favorites and to see them grow so much with their struggles and always sticking together no matter what damaged me in the best way possible. I am so scared to say goodbye to my family
4.35 ⭐️ this book was a real rollercoaster. i was unable to put it down in some moments and my eyes were just flying over the pages. i was hoping so badly that they’d catch the flour bombers or atleast ryke beating them up, especially after they’ve mixed flour with cocaine but no the useless police arrested the wrong ones
warmed up to their age gap but still what the actual fuck. she’s trying to be quirky so fucking bad it’s infuriating
Tropes • grumpy x sunshine • age gap • friends to lovers • mental health
I fell in love with this series when I read Addicted for now, but my first highlight in the Addicted/Calloway sisters series (I view them as one big series instead of two. Even the reading order mixes them😜) has been Hothouse Flower, the first book of Daisy and Ryke. As expected, Long Way Down is too an amazing read – Daisy and Ryke are wild and free, a power of nature in a way, and they don‘t back down from a challenge. I think this book series does an amazing job in creating very unique characters – that‘s also a reason why it‘s so hard picking favorites because they all are different and very special in their own way. I very much liked about this book how we get to know Ryke, with all his flaws and how he has to deal with hard times. In Fuel the Fire Connor was more human than ever before, here I might dare to say, this happens to Ryke. And I enjoyed to get a glimpse of his vulnerable side. 5/5⭐️ 2.5/5🌶️
