I enjoyed reading Dash and Lily this time around even more. Got the German edition when I was younger, and even back then I loved this story. Ever since I got the English version as an ebook, I reread it every Christmas season. It really lifts my mood. It's such an all-around lovely story. Dash, even though he is snarky, is such a loveable character. I enjoy reading Lily's parts too, but possibly because Dash seems to be more mature out of the two I like his p.o.v. a little more. Nevertheless, it's so much fun to read their notebook conversations and learn about their personalities in such an interesting way. Their relationship is portrayed as genuine, showing their deeper connection and banter, as well as the struggles they are facing individually and together. I enjoy reading this book because it's written in an engaging and light way. It's a feel-good read for so many reasons, that I will most likely revisit again. PS: I definitely need to visit The Strand whenever I'll be in NY. Put that on the Bucket list.
