Obi-Wan still struggling with being impulsive and impatient, desperately holds onto the hope of being taken as a padawan by Qui-Gon. Qui-Gon himself, while often proud of Obi-Wan and recognising his potenital, is reluctant to do so, mainly because of his former padawan who turned to the dark side and betrayed him. Regardless, Obi-Wan does his best to help Qui-Gon out with his mission and in doing so gets himself caught in danger. A short novel and yet utterly delightful and fun to read.
