Normally I do not like books set in World War II. But this here is different. It focusses mainly on civilian life in England in 1939 to 1945 - a setting that is quite new to me. And the time travel story has everything I expect from such: The time traveller being not familiar with simple aspects of normal life, the question, if thy could really alter history - and all the twists and turns common to this genre. In the middle, when the three time travelers realise they are stranded, before they meet each other, there are some lengthies - but over all I enjoyed reading and looking forward to the second volume.
