After reading some reviews I'll just pretend the story ended after the first book. I must say one thing though: I was getting vibes between Glisselda and Seraphina (or rather from Glisselda to Seraphina) but really couldn't quite pin down what it was. Interesting to see that it came to fruition but so many people are surprised and think it came out of nowhere.
