3.5 ⭐️I don’t really remember much about this book other than that I had read the first two books in the series and been bored. This one appeared to be a spinoff staring two characters I barely remembered. Imagine my surprise when it was actually quite a pleasant read. Yay. So to those absolutely not liking the books about Grace and Sam (me too btw) try this one if you feel like giving second chances.

Okay, so, this was a hard one for me. I read The Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy just fine, pretty fast actually, but I wasn’t 100% interested in Sinner, because Cole had never been my favourite character. But my mom (who also read the books) found the German edition of Sinner in a used bookstore and got it for me, so I tried to read it. I got about 1/3 through in 6 Months and at this point I just wanted to finish this book so I started listening to the audio book and OMG IT MADE EVERYTHING BETTER. Cole is extremely pretentious in the German translation, like even more than he normally is, and it was so annoying but in the English audiobook I could actually stand it and it took me 36h to read the other 2/3 of this book. So, this book still wasn’t life changing for my but it went from dnf to 3 stars only because of the audiobook so if you are reading a translation and your English is good enough, try the audiobook. I also really liked the audiobook, which surprised me, because I’m not a big fan of The Raven Cycle Audiobooks. Also, generally, this was in no means a bad book, Cole is just really annoying for me (and since I read the first 3 in German, I always had extremely pretentious German Cole) and I was not particularly interested in the story. Also, I would have liked the ending more if they didn’t get together? For me it just felt like, she was gonna break up with him for good and then they just got back together and it didn’t feel right for me? Idk

It was beautiful and painful. Completely perfect. Adoro a Maggie Stiefvater. Como dirían Tegan & Sara: Everything Is AWESOME!!! Twitter || Blog || Pinterest || Tumblr || Instagram
