This series will always have a special place in my heart ☺️ I know it’s meant for younger readers, but I still absolutely love it. The world-building is fantastic and the story always gives me a feeling of nostalgia. Suzanne Collins shows here, just like in The Hunger Games, that she’s a brilliant storyteller. I mean Suzanne Collins Does Fantasy and it’s amazing 🤩 It’s an adorable story with exciting and darker themes like war, danger, and loss, so it never feels too childish. I also really enjoyed the character growth and the way Gregor matures throughout the series. Even rereading it as an adult, it’s still such a great, underrated adventure! 🦇⚔️
