Remember when you reached the part in GONE GIRL when you realize that Amy has set everything up herself to fuck over her husband and you can't handle it so you just put the book down and whisper "what the fuck what the fuck what the fuuuuuuck" to yourself over and over again for a while? THAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME WITH THIS BOOK. ANDREA BARTZ HAS GONE GIRL-ED ME AND I CAN'T EVEN HANDLE IT. Holy shit you guys. Holy shit. I wasn't expecting this in the least. Honestly, Lindsay's character was a huge turn off for me. I found her so annoying and self centered and I told myself that if she didn't get any better, I would stop reading the book all together. But I didn't stop reading, because I am a stubborn bitch and I wanted to know what happened to Edie, dammit. And I'm glad I didn't stop reading because everything that happened to Lindsay? Makes her whole self make so much sense. I was still annoyed with her, but she made sense. I'm glad I stuck with this book. I was completely blown away by how things turned out with Tessa and how it was all wrapped up, and now I'm going to sit in my room and yell for a bit because THAT ENDING!!!!!!
