I read this series because of all the positive reviews. I do not understand why people love it so much. This was the most depressing and confusing series I have ever read. Not only did I not understand what was going on until the end of book 3, the characters have no emotions and the reader is never allowed to know what the characters are thinking. His makes understanding why they are acting as they are incredibly frustrating. Do not recommend.
