Wie immer ist der Schreibstil einfach fantastisch, zieht mich in diese wunderbare Welt und fesselte mich. Ich hab von Anfang an geahnt, was Lijuan vor hat aber nur weil ich das auch so gemacht hätte. Leider war mir diese Höhepunkt nur etwas zu kurz aber ansonsten top. Elena und Raphael sind eifnach mein Lieblingspärchen. man erfährt hier einiges über ihre Vergangenheit und ein bisschen was über seine, man lernt den Rest der 7 kennen. Für mich der perfekte Mix aus Romanze, Fantasy , Horror, crime und Erotik

Ebenfalls ein Reread. Was soll ich sagen? Die Geschichte wird immer besser und man lernt immer mehr Charaktere kennen. Die vorhandenen lernt man noch besser kennen, deren Geschichte. Auch in diesen Band geht es um Elena und Raphael. Deren Geschichte. Wie sehr ich mir wünschen würde ich könnte alle Bücher noch einmal lesen.

Loved it! Ellie is now an angel, the first one ever made. But she has a lot to learn, recovering from almost dying, getting used to her new body, becoming strong so she isn't a weakness that Rafael's ennemies can play not. Thankfully, Rafael is all in and will spare nothing for his hunter. Ellie finds herself shelteres to the refuge, where baby angels grow up until they're old and strong enough to live in the human world. That's where we learn an angel is trying to prove themselves strong enough to be an archangel (Uram's death leaving an empty spot in the Cadre) by commiting aweful acts. Also, Ellie is invited to Lijuan's ball, where she will be introduced to many powerful angels and vampire and where Lijuan will introduce her creations, the reborn. I loved the plot, it was really interesting getting to know where angels came from after it was teased in the previous book. I loved all scenes with Sam, of course. I also loved that we got to know more of the Seven, and that they didn't suddenly love Ellie because she was an angel. Like she's now Rafael's biggest weakness and it makes sense to me that his most loyal warriors would resent her a little bit. I also liked that her recovery and flight lesson didn't take two scenes. Like the authors makes you understand it was a long and hard process that took the while 2 months coming up to the ball and that was great. I was a bit surprised the ball came si far into the story, I was so sure it would take half of it but I guess not. It wasn't bad cause everything that needed to happen did. I really appreciate how the relationship between Ellie and Rafael is handled. I was really scarred that this second book wouls be another case of "the couple needs to be separated to come back stronger" type of trop that I hate and not at all! Ellie keeps her personnality, in spite of her physical changes, and race change which is what we want. Overall, no complaints, it was awesome
