Ich liebe dieses Buch einfach so sehr. Ich liebe die Charactere und Entwicklungen, die Dialoge, die Story, die Welt, einfach alles. ich verbinde einfach so viel mit dem Buch, keins hab ich so oft gelesen wie dieses und es wird immer mein Favorit sein und einen besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen haben. Ich liebe einige Bände dieser Reihe aber mit diesem fing alles an.
Für mich fühlt sich dieses Buch zu lesen an wie Zuhause.
Sicher gibt es Klischees aber ich finde dass mit denen interessant umgegangen wird und das buch hat einfach alles was ich liebe: Thriller/Crime elemente, romance, spice, starke weibliche Hauptfigur, sad Backstories und auch echt brutale Stellen. für mich ist es die perfekte Mischung und es ist sicher nicht das letzte Mal, dass ich es lese.
Aunque al principio es un poco lento y pensaba que no me iba a gusta ha terminado por engancharme y gustarme bastante y el mundo que crea nalini de angeles arcangeles y vampiros me ha gustado porque es totalmente diferente o todo lo que haya leido y me ha molado y me han encantado mucho los personajes elena siendo una prota badass y que no se amilana con nada sara y ramson me encantan la familia que hacen los 3 y bueno rafael que te va ganando con dmitri y illium <333333 y con ese final que omg asi que con ganas de leer el siguiente!!
Unterhaltsam, aber genau so ridiculous wie andere bekannte Reihen der Zeit. Viel sexual tension, 100% hetero Klischees und ein bisschen rasanter Plot, diesmal mit Erzengel und Vampiren.
Dass überall Lücken bleiben und die Perspektive irgendwann völlig vergessen wird, who cares 🤣

Die geschichte ist auch nach dem x-ten mal lesen immer noch sooo schön. Erster band der Gilde der jäger Reihe. Meine absolute lieblingsreihe und das auch noch nach knapp 10 jahren.
Der schreibstil, die story, die charaktere. Einfach nur ein traum. Man fühlt sich gleich zuhause. Was will man auch mehr? Engel, Vampiere, Jäger und Menschen. Schade das kaum jemand diese reihe kennt oder bzw beachtung schenkt.
Die Geschichte von Raphael und Elena ist einfach nur packend.
The only thing I disagree with, about this book, is the cover. It's not a bad cover but it just doesn't represent the book accurately, the cover for the mext books in the series are better I feel and the only reason I've been pushing this book back was the cover (don't judge a book by its cover blablabla, well I really wouldn't have read this book if it hadn't been included in a month read wrap up of a booktuber I watch). For some reason the cover of this book looks like a medieval type of setting? I don't know anymore but this book is a full on contemporary PRN. It's confusing too because I don't dislike medieval type settings... anyway, I wish the cover was different.
In this world, angels, vampires and humans exist. The angels and the archangels are the most powerful beings and lowkey rule the world, they are also the ones who turn humans into vampires. When they do so, the human (now vampire) is endentured to serve the angel who turned them for like 100 years. That's when the vampire hunters come in, when a vampire try to escape his life as a slave.
The story follow Ellie who is a born hunter. She's really good at her job which is why she is chosen by the Cadre of Ten (the team of 10 archangels who rule the world, each managing a part of the world) to find a very special target. And she has to do so in the company of Rafael, one of the archangels, because all of this happens on his territory. Now the hunt begins.
The first thing I need to comment on is the world and the world building. It's all the well done. The world itself is really interesting, with the dynamics between angels, vampires and humans being very original. The Cadre of Ten showing who holds the real power while seeing Rafael's team of Seven having a lot of power too. And of course the whole with age you gain more power deal, making everything a little more complicated. The way everything is explained to you just makes sense. You learn thing very naturally and there is no info dump (which I love, good world building is my guilty pleasure).
For the characters, I love Ellie, I'm sure there's even more to know about her in the next books but she is strong, reliable, loyal, smart, stubborn. Like nothing groundbreaking in terns of PNR heroine, but at the same time she's just well done and believable. Same with Rafael, you can see he's the typical alpha male, but the way he's being humanized by Ellie throughout the book is just awesome.
Overall I just nothing bad to say, I'm on to the mext one!
