I most definitely did not almost cry while I read this, and read it again. Kidding - this is probably the closest I've come to crying from a story. I don't really cry much while reading, but this one just hit me in the heart so much that the tissues suddenly didn't seem so far away. If you have children, I'm making it required reading for them. Why should you listen to me? Well, I'd like to think this is a pretty good piece of advice. If you don't have children, just read it for yourself anyway. This story is like the most intense rollercoaster you'll probably ever go on - it's over quickly, but you'll probably remember it forever. Or maybe you won't and maybe I'm just all mushy and sentimental about this one.

What an endearing and meaningful children’s book that encapsulates the pure love of a little boy and his velveteen toy rabbit. I read this book to my little boy and it will accompany us for a lifetime. It’s a beautiful reminder of unconditional love and support. Thanks to all my bookish friends on this platform who wrote brilliant reviews on this children’s book, thus encouraging me to get a copy of the same. IG: nilguen_reads

My favorite children's book of all time. Read this to your kids if they haven't yet, or read it yourself if you haven't yet, but read it. This peculiar tale deserves more attention, as it so profound and meaningful that a kid will appreciate its atmosphere and an adult will appreciate its deeper meaning.
